Ragazzi avvezzi alla tecnologia che fa parte del mondo in cui viviamo o un pò meno ragazzi e obbligati ad abituarci alla tecnologia che fa parte del mondo che ci circonda, è certo che la scrittura e la lettura sono a un bivio. 

Carta o e-reader?

Non dobbiamo necessariamente scegliere l'una o l'altro. Ma dobbiamo essere consapevoli che le cose cambiano, e anche a un ritmo vertiginoso, ed è meglio rimanere al passo altrimenti si rischia di essere tagliati fuori.

La lettura su supporto digitale ormai è un elemento che si va affermando sempre più.

Nel 2012 è previsto un incremento consistente del mercato dell'editoria digitale. Gli addetti al settore e i fruitori del prodotto si adegueranno ad un nuovo modo di intendere e di utilizzare la lettura.

Sicuramente un modo più amichevole e più coinvolgente. Con la lettura digitale, possiamo dialogare con il contenuto. Possiamo ridiventare chiosatori, addirittura, apponendo le nostre annotazioni. Internet ci aiuta a riscoprire ruoli di tanto tempo fa, i chiosatori, appunto, che pochi di noi conoscono se non per averli studiati sui libri di scuola e non certo per averli praticati.

La carta d'altro canto ci riporta ad un rapporto con il libro che conosciamo da sempre. Chi di noi non ha un rapporto con la carta quando sfogliamo un libro, quando lo teniamo tra le mani, a volte come fosse un bambino, altre volte come fosse un amico e un po' strapazzandolo?

Noi di Officine Editoriali crediamo che il libro di carta non si esaurirà mai. Ma certamente siamo testimoni di un cambio di abitudini a dir poco rivoluzionario. Noi ne siamo comunque felici e dunque cerchiamo di offrire un prodotto all'altezza della nuova tecnologia.

Paper or e-reader?

We don't necessarily have to prefer one or the other. But we must be aware that things change, and even at a dizzying pace, and it is better to keep up otherwise we risk to be cut off.

The reading on digital support is now an element that is establishing itself more and more.

In 2012 is expected a considerable increase of the digital publishing market. The sector operators and the users of the product will adapt to a new way to understand and use the reading.

Surely a more friendly and more involving way. With digital reading, we can dialogue with the content. We can even become once again commentators, putting our notations. Internet helps us to rediscover roles of long time ago, the commentators, in fact, that few of us know if not studied them in the history books and certainly not to have practiced them.

The paper on the other hand brings us back to a relationship with the book as we know it since forever. Who among us doesn't have a relationship with the paper when browsing a book, when we hold it in our hands, sometimes like a child, other times like a friend and a little bit scrambling it?

Nel prossimo post riscriveremo la mission di Officine Editoriali perché non vogliamo dimenticarla noi e non vogliamo che la dimentichiate voi.

Qui invece parleremo di qualche azienda, molto famosa, che ha iniziato bene, con tanti buoni propositi ed è finita come tutte le altre, se non peggio, ad utilizzare metodi di accaparramento molto lontani dai propositi iniziali.

Un giornale locale statunitense (The Morning Call) ha pubblicato qualche giorno fa i retroscena sulle condizioni di lavoro dei dipendenti Amazon.

Dopo mesi di ricerche e di interviste, è venuto fuori che i lavoratori hanno svolto e continuano a svolgere il loro compito in condizioni assolutamente vessatorie sia fisiche che psicologiche.

Vietato rallentare i ritmi di lavoro, già considerati inumani; velocità raddoppiate; provvedimenti disciplinari per chi sviene e non regge il ritmo; licenziamenti esemplari con tanto di gogna e altro ancora a una lettura approfondita dell'inchiesta.

Accenniamo a queste notizie proprio perché Officine Editoriali vuole attenersi alla sua mission. Per questo la ripubblicheremo nel prossimo post.

Vogliamo renderla indelebile per noi e per tutti. Che non si cada poi in tentazione, come hanno fatto sembra in parecchi.
