I vantaggi di Kindle / The advantages of Kindle

There is no doubt that the e-reader Kindle from Amazon inspires the sympathy of most readers. In Italy as in the rest of the world.
Of course, anyone who owns an iPad, can use it as a digital reader but in this case, the differences with Kindle become ovious.
Read an e-book on the iPad can have its disadvantages which seem to become insurmountable when we are reading not just comfortably on an armchair with the possibility of putting the iPad on our knees. In fact, in the long run the iPad can become heavy and make us tired, especially when we are lying in bed and maybe we want to read before get to sleep. Then its dimensions may result limiting for reading positions.
We can hold the Kindle with only two fingers and it weighs only 170 grams.
It must be said however that with the iPad we don't need lamps because the screen is backlit and we can also read in the dark.
The Kindle instead, has an e-ink display and we need a lamp for reading in the dark. But also in this the Kindle looks a lot like a paper book. And wecan read even in bright sunlight.
The more noticeable disadvantage in Kindle is the research system and download of e-books from Amazon library. Rather complicated and farraginous while with iPad is much more simpler and streamlined.
But it's a disadvantage to which we can easily overcome.
With the Calibre software then we can turn the not compatible format in compatible format with Kindle (see Mobi).
In other words, a fun device that will allow us to interact with our e-books.
