L’IVA sugli e-book / VAT of e-books

Risale al Luglio 2010 la campagna nazionale di Key4biz per abbassare l’IVA degli e-book dal 20% attuale (del software) al 4%, come per i libri cartacei.

Le decisioni spettano all’Unione Europea ma i governi nazionali hanno cominciato a mobilitarsi, come per esempio in Francia e in Spagna.

E in Francia poi è realmente successo. A partire dal 1° Gennaio 2012 sia i libri cartacei che gli e-book verranno tassati al 7% perseguendo quella equiparazione tra le due categorie che di fatto l’editoria digitale ha già occupato come fetta di mercato.

Nonostante ciò alcune voci smentiscono le dichiarazioni del Ministro della Cultura francese Frédéric Mitterrand e contribuiscono a creare confusione.

Noi di Officine Editoriali ci chiediamo cosa succederà adesso in Italia. Dalla campagna lanciata da Key4biz più di un anno fa si è fatto molto poco se non niente in questa direzione.

Ci vorranno come al solito tempi biblici per adeguarci al resto dei Paesi Europei e non solo?

Noi ci auguriamo davvero che possiamo recepire in tempo reale ciò che accade vicino a noi.

Bilancio di fine anno nei prossimi giorni / Budget of the year in the coming days

Siamo quasi giunti alla fine dell’anno 2011.

Nei prossimi giorni riassumeremo cosa fatto sin qui.

Officine Editoriali ha iniziato la sua avventura per la raccolta fondi il lontano 15 Agosto 2011.

Da allora sono state prenotate 207 quote per un totale di 3.105 euro. I nostri visitatori sono stati 2.373. Il 31 dicembre prossimo vi verranno fornite le cifre aggiornate e definitive.

Certo abbiamo lavorato tra le persone che conoscevamo.

Abbiamo anche cercato di coinvolgere altre persone che non rientravano proprio nella nostra sfera personale ed ora stiamo lavorando perché il nostro obiettivo venga raggiunto per il 30 gennaio 2012.

Il lavoro svolto dovrebbe dare i suoi frutti ed è quello che noi speriamo.

Come già detto nel post precedente, vogliamo evitare di spostare ulteriormente la data di scadenza del progetto.

E’ importante che più persone vengano a conoscenza del progetto di Officine Editoriali. E per fare questo è necessario PASSARE PAROLA.

Tutto questo comporta il sentirsi indipendenti dalle grandi major e, nel caso dell’editoria, dalle grandi case editrici anche a costo di qualche imperfezione nel lavoro finale.

Con lo spirito “indie”, semplicemente torniamo ai contenuti. Attenzione ai contenuti e alla sostanza. Molto meno alla forma benché anche questa sia curata proprio come espressione artistica.

Il 6 luglio 2011, l’AGCOM, l’Agenzia Garante nelle Comunicazioni, ha rilasciato la delibera sullo “Schema di regolamento in materia di tutela del diritto d’autore sulle reti di comunicazione elettronica.”

Molti pensano che con questa delibera si metta in serio pericolo la sopravvivenza di interi siti servizi on line, di qualunque genere essi siano, in nome della tutela del diritto di autore.

D’altro canto, secondo il Presidente di Creative Commons, Joi Ito, dopo dieci anni di attività sono circa 400 milioni le opere rilasciate in rete con licenze CC.

Non sono stati quindi solo gli artisti a guadagnarne ma l’umanità tutta grazie al continuo arricchirsi della conoscenza come bene comune.

Noi di Officine Editoriali speriamo che anche in Italia si cominci a pensare più seriamente alle licenze Creative Commons e che si cominci a valutare che gli utenti possono beneficiare dei nostri contenuti e non già derubarli.
